Since October 2024, Lea Becker has been working as a researcher at RIFS as part of the EU project "1.5° Lifestyles." The project seeks to drive profound social change toward sustainable lifestyles aligned with the 1.5° climate target.
Prior to this, she contributed to the project as a student assistant. Lea pursued her studies in the Franco-German partner programme "International and European Governance," alternating annually between the University of Münster and Sciences Po Lille for her Bachelor's and Master's semesters. During her studies, she developed a growing interest in political theory, focusing particularly on sustainability, justice, and deliberation. Her Master's thesis explored the role of democracy in enabling a good life for all.
