Naja Dyrendom Graugaard ist eine Dänisch-Kalaaleq(Inuk)-Wissenschaftlerin mit Expertise in kritischen Inuit-Studien und (de)kolonialen Beziehungen zwischen Dänemark und Kalaallit Nunaat. Sie befasst sich mit der Dominanz kolonialer Wissensregime und des dänischen Exzeptionalismus in den zeitgenössischen Manifestationen des skandinavischen Kolonialismus und beschäftigt sich in ihrer Forschung mit alternativen, dekolonialen und indigenen Erzählungen, den gelebten Erfahrungen der Kalaallit und den Wissenssystemen der Inuit. Weiterhin widmet sie sich verschiedenen öffentlichen Verbreitungsformen der nordischen Kolonialgeschichte, wie Debatten, Workshops, Performances und Videoblogs. Graugaard hat poetische, theatralische und autobiografische Schriften veröffentlicht, welche die (inter-)generationalen Erfahrungen von Kolonisierung, Rassifizierung und Wiederaufleben in gemischten, indigenen Familien in Dänemark beleuchtet.
